How many construction methods are there for curing and dyeing floors?

With the continuous development and progress of industrial floor, and the widespread use of floor buffer concrete grinder, natural color curing floor (concrete sealed curing floor) has been unable to meet the diversified market demand, dyeing curing floor came into being. However, the initial technology is not mature and always has some defects. After continuous research and in-depth, the curing agent coloring technology is becoming more and more mature, and it is possible to present a satisfactory answer to customers.

What is dyeing curing floor? Dyeing and curing floor is a floor with color or pattern formed by the construction of floor dyeing agent and concrete sealing curing agent. Next, I will explain to you the three construction methods of curing and dyeing floor:

Method 1: first dyeing, then curing

1. Base surface treatment: grinding with a grinder with elastic grinding discs to remove all other substances including curing agents, 
oil stains, dust,
building laurum, wall residues and loose materials left on the foundation surface. If you want to achieve the best effect,
you can
choose 50 mesh, 100 mesh and 200 mesh grinding discs for polishing. The ground should be treated as flat as possible.
The smoother the ground, the more ideal the dyeing effect in the later period.

2. After cleaning and drying the ground, apply the floor dyeing agent evenly on the ground with spraying tools such as drum or watering can. The recommended dosage is 0.15-0.25 liters/square (reference value). Air drying and waiting for the ground to fully absorb the completion, in the process of air drying, if there is a low-lying ground accumulation of floor dye materials. Drum or other equipment should be used in a timely manner to spread the accumulated low-lying materials to the surrounding relatively high ground. In some areas, if it dries faster, it should be properly supplemented with a floor stain. Ensure that the absorption of materials by the ground is as consistent as possible.

3. After cleaning and drying the ground, use a roller or watering can to spray the floor dye evenly on the ground. The recommended dosage is 0.15-0.25 liters/square (reference value). Dry and wait for the ground to be fully absorbed. During the drying process, if there is any accumulation of floor dye materials in the low-lying ground. Rollers or other equipment should be used to drag the accumulated low-lying materials to the surrounding relatively high ground in time. If some areas dries quickly, a floor dye should be applied appropriately. Ensure that the absorption of materials on the ground is as consistent as possible.

4. Wait for the ground is completely dried. Use a wet and dry scrubber to clean up the ground where there are residual materials. Grind the ground to 400 mesh with a corner grinder equipment. After cleaning it, seal curing agent material is applied.

5. 2-3 hours, after the ground is opened and dried, the floor grinder equipment is used to grind with 500 mesh and 1000 mesh abrasives in turn. If the surface gloss is required to be high, the polishing can be continued with 1500 mesh and 3000 mesh resin grinding sheets (or polished white cleaning pads) in turn.

Advantages and disadvantages

The dyeing effect is good, the dye penetration is sufficient, and it can keep the ground dyeing after long-term use without fading and fading.

Method 2: Cure first, then stain

 1. Clean up the ground after the construction method of concrete sealing curing agent is completely processed;

2. After drying, use a roller or other equipment to paint the floor dyeing material on the ground where the concrete seal curing agent has been prepared. After the ground is dry, lightly polish the ground with a polishing pad. In the process of ground dyeing and drying, if there is less ground absorbing material and the color is relatively light, it can be brushed again appropriately.

Advantages and disadvantages

The construction is simple, the amount of dyeing agent is small, and the cost is saved. However, the dyeing effect may not penetrate enough on some ground.

Method 3: Double staining, double curing

1. Base surface treatment: a grinder with elastic grinding pieces can be selected for grinding to remove all other substances including curing agents, oil stains, dust, building laurum, wall residues and loose materials left on the foundation surface. If you want to achieve the best effect, you can select 50 mesh, 100 mesh and 200 mesh grinding discs for polishing. The ground should be treated as flat as possible. The smoother the ground, the more ideal the dyeing effect in the later period.

2. Clean the ground, dry it, roll the ground with thinner to wet the ground. Then evenly roll and coat the floor stain. (If there is a accumulation of floor dye materials in low-lying areas, it should be dragged and scattered around with a roller in time)

3. After the dyeing agent is fully dried, remove the residual dyeing agent on the surface with a mop, apply the seal curing agent, and after the seal curing agent is fully absorbed, grind the ground with 200 mesh and 400 mesh grinding pieces in turn.

4. After waiting for the ground to dry again, apply a layer of floor dye. If there is a lighter color area in the original painting, you can apply more floor dye material.

5. After waiting for the floor dye to dry again, use a mop to remove excess dye remaining on the ground. Then apply the seal curing agent again. After the seal curing agent is fully absorbed and dried, it is ground with 500 mesh and 1000 mesh resin grinding pieces in turn (floor buffer concrete grinder can be used for polishing).

Advantages and disadvantages

The dyeing effect is very good, the color is also very uniform, the dye penetration is sufficient, and the color does not fade or fade after dyeing, but the construction is more troublesome.
